“Cultural Patterns of Eastern Woodlands”
Lecture with Dr. Barbara Mann
An eye-opening presentation, in which Dr. Barbara Mann will speak on the history of Eastern Native American nations, as well as the cultural patterns, democratic practices, and misconceptions about the history and heritage of all Native Americans.

Diya is hosted every year to celebrate the festival of lights-- "Diwali.” Feel the warmth and depth of Indian culture with music, dance, and authentic Indian cuisine.

The University of Toledo Dining and Hospitality Services will celebrate International Education Week with an array of spectacular international cuisines. Stop by any of our residential dining halls, and experience a taste of tradition from India, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia and Europe. A different culture will be featured at lunch and dinner daily during the week of November 16th.

Come see what the world is reading and watching! A multi-media display of international and indigenous authors (fiction and non-fiction), as well as videos
on topics such as global education, leadership
and responsibility, and Native American heritage.

It’s getting cold outside, and harder to get our workouts in. Try the international dance clinics and have fun while learning different traditional cultural dances from around the world. Two dances per night will be presented.

18th Annual International Village Food Festival “Bazaar of Cultures”
This UT tradition features foods and cultures around the world. To celebrate International Education Week, UT students from diverse backgrounds bring their homemade foods and cultural crafts to sell. You will enjoy a lunch of the world at a low cost, as well as cultural displays and fun activities.
Come and take a picture in cultural costumes for FREE. Student organizations and off-campus businesses will also have FREE items and coupons to give away.
