Joseph Dubose won The Mentoring Collaborative Academic Recognition
Award for scholarly achievements in the College of Business. He has graduated with honors in Human Resource Management and
been accepted into the Judith Herb
College of Education, Health Science and Human Service graduate school
for a master's
degree in Higher Education. In addition, Joe has been awarded an assistantship through the GOAP (Graduate Opportunity Assistantship
Program) that will cover his tuition costs and pay him a stipend for 20 hours work per week!!!

Robby Spangler
was interviewed by Larry Burns, vp for external affairs and interim vp for equity and diversity for a spring edition of "Tower
Views." The
conversation highlighted Robby’s involvement as a UT Culture Ambassador and the value of diverse experiences on campus.
Robby is a junior majoring in urban studies and has been with The Mentoring Collaborative since 2007. He has developed into an extraordinary leader, a member of student government and is a very engaging young man. We are proud to have him in our program. View the Tower Views clip with Robby!

Close Encounter of The Greatest Kind: An email from Mr. Eddie Cole, Esquire (mentor) reported "Jonathan Stone (mentee) and I met Judge Charles Doneghy in his chambers in the Court of Common Pleas of Lucas County, OH. Judge Doneghy and Jonathan had an opportunity to talk for thirty minutes. Afterwards, Jonathan sat in the courtroom for 3 hours listening to arraignment proceeding presided over by Judge Doneghy."
