    Customized Training for Groups

Global Manager Program - Ssang Yong Business Group
The American Language Institute provides quality customized training programs to meet the needs of business, corporations and educational institutions in the United States and throughout the world.

Executive and Academic English Language Training

For over twenty years, the Institute has provided a variety of businesses, corporations and educational institutions with special training programs for their executives or scholars. Each program is custom-designed to meet the needs of the individual organization. Our customers include Japanese-owned corporations based in the United States, Toledo-based Fortune 500 companies seeking executive English and cultural training for their global partners, Korean physical education specialists, doctoral student in bio-chemistry and pharmacology, Kuwaiti businessmen, and Latin American scholars in various disciplines.

Through meetings and interviews, we assess the training needs of each organization. We then custom-design a program to meet those needs and the goals identified through this joint process. We provide ongoing assessment: as the needs of the trainees or the organization change, we modify the program accordingly. And we remain available as a resource when the training program is over.

Our position within The University of Toledo affords us access to experts in many disciplines. Through these contacts, we can set up special seminars for trainees in topics ranging from management and marketing to respiratory therapy and exercise science. With our experience in dealing with many cultures, we can also provide a wide variety of cross-cultural training activities for American and international staff members and their families. These include language lessons, workshops in American or other cultures, and seminars in communication across cultural boundaries.
