Earn a bachelor's degree in three years
If you are currently a high school student, an adult, or a veteran, you may be able
to earn a bachelor’s degree in just three years. The College of Languages, Literature,
and Social Sciences at the University of Toledo offers you 24 three-year degree options.
Completing a bachelor’s degree in three years requires well-prepared students who
are motivated to work at an accelerated pace in eight-week courses, or who have earned
college credit through one or more of the following:
- Advanced Placement courses leading to a score of at least 3 on an AP exam.
- Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program where students earn high school and college credit at the same time.
- Early College High Schools where the high school curriculum earns college credit
- Career-Technical Credit Transfer whose work
- Prior Learning Assessment where learning gained through work and life experience outside the classroom is evaluated and validated for college credit
- Military training and coursework
- Successful scores on College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams.
- Successful scores on foreign-language, mathematics, and chemistry placement exams.
Students interested in earning a three-year degree should work with a high school counselor and a College of Languages, Literature, and Social Sciences advisor to determine if this option meets your needs.
