Students, student groups, and student organizations are expected to engage in conduct that represents the mission, vision, and values of the university.

Amnesty POLICY

The University of Toledo is committed to promoting a safe and healthy environment for students while on the UT campuses and satellite grounds. Amnesty policies benefit our campus by encouraging students to make responsible decisions and to seek medical attention in life threatening situations that result from alcohol and/or other drug abuse.

Policy on Alcoholic Beverages

The University of Toledo prohibits the use of alcohol which is inconsistent with state, local or University regulations. It is the goal of The University of Toledo to establish and sustain an environment on campus that is conducive to the intellectual, emotional, and social growth of all the members of its community. The University is committed to the preservation of individual freedoms and the promotion of the health, safety, and welfare of the community.

Alcohol and Substance Abuse Policy

The University of Toledo is committed to promoting and maintaining a work and academic environment that is free from illegal use of alcohol and drug use/abuse, in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws as well as the federal drug free schools and campus regulations. The abuse of alcohol and use of illicit drugs also poses a health risk to members of the University community.

In an effort to promote the highest levels of health and well-being, The University of Toledo campuses are tobacco-free.
