All fees are subject to change without notice by action of the Board of Trustees of The University of Toledo.  Credit-hour fees are assessed based upon the student's residence classification, school, and class standing.

Tuition rates are assessed at the student level.  For example, graduate students taking an undergraduate course are assessed at the graduate level.

General Fees

The general fee is a mandatory fee assessed to all students registered for credit, contract education courses, and distance learning each semester.  General fee can vary by program.  See the Finance Brochure for further details.

Technology Fees

Technology Fees are assessed by the enrolled college and the number of credit hours the student is enrolled each term.  There is no cap or maximum except for the Law Library fee.

Parking Fees

Parking permits will automatically be assessed to the student account if enrolled in one or more on campus courses.  Students, full and part-time will be assessed $95.00 each term.   A new permit is needed each term.  If a student does not need a parking permit, the permit can be waived via the MyUT portal.

Distance Learning Fee $22.50 per distance learning course
New student registration $30.00/first term only
Facility Fee $5.20 per credit hour/maximum $62.40 at 12 credit hours
Wall Street Journal $19.00/flat fee for Fall and Spring
Assessed based upon being enrolled in at least one
undergrad business course.

 

Health Insurance

Health insurance is assessed to all domestic students enrolled in six or more on-campus credit hours.  All international students enrolled in one or more on-campus credit hours are also assessed health insurance.

More Health Insurance Information

Please be sure to complete the waiver process if you have other health insurance coverage.  Printing out an account statement and crossing off the fee will not waive the charge.

Late Registration Fee

The late registration fee is assessed for Fall and Spring terms as follows:

  • $0.00 prior to the first day of the term
  • $50.00 the first through third day of the term
  • $100.00 the fourth through fifteenth day of the term
  • $200.00 the sixteenth day through the last day of the term
  • $500.00 after the last day of the term

Summer term late registration fees are applied using the above schedule, but not assessed until the beginning of Summer Session II.

 

Late Payment Fee

A monthly late payment fee of $25.00 may be assessed on outstanding balances.
