Kyle D. Bergen (2020)

bergenKyle Bergen was appointed to The University of Toledo Board of Trustees by Governor John Kasich in August 2018. He is a member of the Academic and Student Affairs Committee and the Clinical Affairs Committee.

Bergen is a third-year Doctor of Pharmacy student in the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. He graduated from UT in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a minor in chemistry. During his time at UT, he has been involved with Relay for Life serving as the Survivor Committee Co-Chairman, Colleges Against Cancer Director, and Internal Director in consecutive years. During each of the last two years, the event raised record totals for the American Cancer Society.

Bergen was inducted into the Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society and Blue Key National Honor Fraternity, which respectively recognizes the top 30 and 13 UT leaders. He oversaw the float building competition during the 2017 Edward C. and Helen G. Schmakel Homecoming Parade and helped in the planning of Songfest 2018. He was also a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, where he received a national award for his dedication in making significant positive changes to the campus and community.

Currently, Bergen is a Drug Information Teaching Assistant in Doctor of Pharmacy Curriculum and a member of the Student College of Clinical Pharmacists. He previously was a Pharmacy Intern at Toledo Family Pharmacy.

Bergen has a deep passion for UT and loves to share that with other students and community members.
