National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)

NASA offices and field centers offer a wide variety of opportunities for researchers to join the NASA team. Whether supporting graduate students and funding science investigations for missions to other planets, NASA encourages all interested researchers to take advantage of these opportunities.

NASA Undergraduate Student Research Program (NASA-USRP)

The NASA Undergraduate Student Research Program offers undergraduates across the United States mentored research experiences at participating NASA Centers and research support facilities. The NASA Undergraduate Student Research Program is managed for NASA by the Virginia Space Grant Consortium of Hampton, Virginia.

    Undergraduate Programs and Opportunities

A list of NASA programs and opportunities for undergraduates. Ranging from research to job opportunities to help expand knowledge and ability and help fund education.

    Undergraduate Computer Programs

A group of Java programs which were designed to help undergraduate engineering students. These programs cover the basics of aerodynamics and propulsion.

Guidance for the Preparation and Submission of Unsolicited Proposals

NASA depends upon the private sector -- industry, educational institutions and other nonprofit organizations -- for the greater part of its research needs. Therefore, NASA encourages the submission of unique and innovative unsolicited proposals which will further the Agency's mission. This document provides guidelines for the preparation of formal unsolicited proposals to those who wish to convey their creative methods or approaches to NASA.
