2012, A Year In Review: A Look Back At W&P Activities And Events
Interview Suit Initiative: Heather Karns, the Assistant Dean of Career Services & Alumni Affairs for the College of Law asked that I share the news that the Interview Suit Initiative started by member, Jane McQuade, has been a wonderful success. If you remember, Jane and her husband, The Hon. Richard McQuade, donate gift certificates so that a male and a female law student may purchase a new suit in time for their job interviews. Heather wanted us to know that individuals also may donate gently used suits and professional attire for women. It couldn’t be easier. The Eberly Center for Women accepts these clothing items and it is as easy as dropping them off during their business hours (8:30 a.m.—5:00 p.m. weekdays). What a wonderful way to assist a student get a jump-start on her career.
