“The Women & Philanthropy group appealed to me because of their financial support of The University of Toledo. It allows
one to see the benefits of giving on a local level. What a delightful experience it has been to join this group of lovely,
bright women.”

I love the concept of women making important contributions to UT. Many people along my journey have helped me. I believe in
passing it on. I love the people involved and I enjoy the challenge we have to promote help for our students. It’s fun, it’s
a challenge and it has a great goal.

I love supporting anything at UT and the Women & Philanthropy group truly appealed for my great interest in furthering women
and their individual causes in the educational field. Women need to be together to share and work together in causes greater
than themselves. Women do this so well.

The idea of women interested in our university, which is an enhancement to our town, doing a project together is attractive. The
camaraderie and the feeling of doing something worthwhile are enough in themselves to cause me to participate. It is destined
to be a flagship organization for university women. It will enhance the university and then our city as it develops projects
and funds them. As a result, individual students will be impacted positively in a lasting way. Others should join to make
a statement favoring the mission of the university that exists in our own city. Also, it is a great way to get a rush and good feeling when we are able to see a great project develop. And,
there are great friends to be made in the process.

I joined to become involved with an organization where there is an opportunity to support women’s educational goals for scholarships
and grants. I will be able to meet other women of diverse interests who have a wish to advance The University of Toledo throughout
the community and globally. I think others should join to share with other women the achievement of philanthropic goals.
