College of Engineering

  • The College of Engineering includes a mandatory co-op program within its Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree programs.  Students enrolled in these programs are required to complete a minimum of 3 semesters of full-time cooperative work experience prior to graduation.  To date, we have made over 22,000 co-op placements with over 2,500 employers in engineering and related industries.
  • The College of Engineering has developed a graduate certificate in Mechatronics for Dana employees.  Courses will begin this fall and will include the 1st cohort of 18 Dana employees.  Furthermore, the Dean’s Office is working with Dana through its Corporate Partners Program to provide additional professional development opportunities for Dana employees in the area of professional communication.

UT Family Business Center

  • The mission of the UT Family Business Center is to provide support specifically designed for family businesses — places that have a special dynamic.  The UT Family Business Center serves as the springboard for the connectivity that members find so useful and offers venues for networking between family businesses.
