Online Master's Degree - Early Childhood Education
The online Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (non-licensure) reflects the latest in theory, research, and practice to help teachers become more effective in the classroom Faculty in Early Childhood Education are nationally-recognized scholars who work with graduate students on various projects, papers, and grants and are active in schools and agencies at the local, state, and national levels.
The Master of Education in Early Childhood Education is a 36-semesterhour program:
Core Courses - 12 hours
Specialty Courses in Early Childhood - 18 hours
Culminating Activity (Thesis or Project) - 6 hours
The Judith Herb College of Education offers three different graduate degrees in early childhood education. Each program is designed collaboratively by the student and a faculty adviser in order to best meet the needs of the student. Applications are accepted throughout the year. The University of Toledo is regionally accredited by the North Central Association (NCA) and is authorized to offer degrees online.
