Alex Zernechel was elected to council in 2023. He previously served on Council from 2018 to 2021.
Alex is the Associate Director of Student Engagement. He joined The University of Toledo in 2017 and has enjoyed every opportunity that has been put in front of him. Alex has a bachelor of arts in history from Albright College and a master’s in higher education/student affairs from Western Carolina University. He is a native of North Canton, Ohio. He loves working with emerging leaders to help them achieve their personal goals and those of their organizations, along with building a more inclusive and supportive Greek community. In his free time, he loves to travel with friends and spend time with his Siberian Husky, Esme.
