: Professional Staff Association :: Scholarship Committee

The Scholarship Committee is responsible for following the PSA scholarship guidelines and for assisting the PSA in awarding the PSA scholarship each year.

• Name of the fund:  The University of Toledo Professional Staff Association Scholarship Fund

• Sponsoring group: The Professional Staff Association (PSA) consists of classified-exempt and unclassified administrative and professional employees who do not belong to a collective bargaining unit.

• Academic Status: non-freshman enrolled UT student

• Attendance:  Enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours

• Academic requirement:  Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

• Will the scholarship be college specific:  NO

• Will financial need be considered:  YES

• Renewable award:  Applicant must go through application process each time

• Can be used to fund:  Tuition, fees, books and other educational expenses

• Scholarship is refundable

• Application submissions:  Completed application form, letter(s) of recommendation from current PSA staff at UT, personal references as requested, FAFSA must be on file

• Award criteria:  evaluation of submitted materials, final candidates will be offered a personal interview opportunity

• Recipients selected through PSA Scholarship Committee
