Professional Advancement Ceremony 2005
The fourth annual Professional Advancement Ceremony on August 21, 2005 honored 105 PharmD and 62 Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) students admitted into the 3rd year Professional Division. Dean Johnnie L. Early II and faculty members presented each BSPS student with a leather padfolio, compliments of CVS/pharmacy; a Stedman’s Medical Dictionary; and the Goodman & Gilman Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics. Fourth-year PharmD student Megan Vozar led the Student Pledge.
During the White Coat portion of the ceremony, the dean and faculty presented each 3rd year PharmD student with a lab coat, provided in part by CVS/pharmacy. Dr. Robert Schlembach, on behalf of the Alumni Affiliate, presented name badges. Each PharmD student also received the Stedman’s Medical Dictionary and the Goodman & Gilman Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics.
