Pharmacy camp is a three-night, four-day camp that takes place on the campus of The University of Toledo each summer. The camp is open to high school students in the Class of 2011 who demonstrate strong academic skills and an interest in pharmacy or the pharmaceutical sciences.
Campp activities include field trips, job shadowing, laboratory experiences, workshops, panels, and videos. Recreational activities include free time at the recreation center and a campus scavenger hunt. Admission to Pharmacy Summer Camp is competitive, and forty students are selected for each camp session. Click "Camp Application" on the toolbar for the application and deadlines. Pharmacy Camp offers students the opportunity to learn more about careers in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences, explore the beautiful University of Toledo campus, meet other campers their age who share the same interests, interact with UT pharmacy faculty & staff and much more!
There is a fee for the camp*, TBA in early 2010, which includes all room and meal expenses, a workbook, and all scheduled camp activities. Students will stay in a campus residence hall with camp counselors. Participants are responsible for transportation to and from The University of Toledo. *Need-based financial assistance is available.
The Ursuline College/University of Toledo Pharmacy Partnership will host a Pharmacy Summer Camp from June 13-16, 2010 on the campus of Ursuline College in Northeast Ohio. Students will experience a camp that parallels* the camp program at UT, plus they will learn how undergraduates at Ursuline take advantage of dual admission to UT to prepare seamlessly for application to UT’s professional pharmacy programs. High school students in the class of 2011 who are considering pharmacy are invited to apply for the camp. Students can apply using the Pharmacy Summer Camp online application.
*Cost for the camp held on the Ursuline College campus, TBA in early 2010, includes all meals, housing, events, and transportation. Need based financial assistance may be available upon request.
