National Lab Day at The University of Toledo 2019

High School Outreach Program

The high school event during National Lab Day hosted by The University of Toledo was on Friday, Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. During their visit to the UToledo campus, 100 high school students from northwest Ohio had an opportunity to learn about STEM careers, the wide breadth of research being conducted at Department of Energy national laboratories and future opportunities for undergraduate and graduate internships.

  • 11:00 a.m. - noon - Speed Networking Lunch with DOE Scientists and Engineers (Career Paths in STEM)
  • Noon - 1:30 p.m. - DOE STEM Fair - Highlights from DOE Labs
