RockeTHON: UT's Dance Marathon!
Savage Arena on The University of Toledo Main Campus
April 8, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.
To celebrate the year long effort in raising money and support for the children and families of Mercy Children’s Hospital.
RockeTHON is a 13 hour-long event where over 1,000 students dance all day and night to help raise funds for Mercy Children's Hospital, This hospital locally resides in downtown Toledo and is in association with the Children's Miracle Network.
Since 2001, students, faculty, family, and friends have come together to raise almost
one million dollars for Mercy Children’s Hospital. RockeTHON has raised over $100,000
consecutively since 2014! This money has all gone directly to Mercy Children's Hospital
for new research and technology needed to uphold the standard of care for the kids.
During the course of the event, we have a wide variety of activities that range from mini competitions to inflatable games. Entertainment is packed into 13 hours with live bands, dance routines, and showcases from multiple student organizations. Every year, multiple Miracle Families join the event and share their Miracle Child's story. By building relations with these families, we are building a brighter future for all of the kids of Mercy Children's Hospital. Every volunteer and particpant counts; and every story brings light to the cause we all dance for. Thanks for your support! FOR THE KIDS (FTK)!
