The Office of Commuter Student and Off-Campus Services provide support through programming and a variety of resources for UT commuter students. Students may pick up the latest listing of rental housing off-campus (apartments, houses, duplexes, rooms in private homes) plus numerous brochures to help with the rental process. We publish a periodic newsletter and present several programs each semester spotlighting issues of interest to commuter students. Students may use telephones for free local calls, plus store their lunch in our refrigerator and heat it up in the microwave, or use our bagel toaster.
The office is located in the Student Union, Room 2521 and office hours are as follows:

Scam Alert!
There is a national scam being carried out in which prospective renters want to send – usually via money order – more money than the rent specified. You are requested to cash the money order and send them the extra cash. The money orders are fraudulent. Many times there is an international connection. If you are contacted, please contact the Ohio Attorney General’s Consumer Fraud Office at 1-800-282-0515 or the U.S. Secret Service Toledo Office – 419-259-6434.
