In her role as Vice President for the Student Experience at The University of Toledo, Dr. Patten Wallace provides leadership for creating an environment and system of support that is conducive to students achieving their educational goals. The offices and departments that make up the Division of Student Affairs include: Office of the Dean of Students, Office of Residence Life, the University Counseling Center, Office of Multicultural Student Success, Office of Recreation, Office of Student Conduct, Office of Student Involvement and Auxiliary Services- parking and dining services, Rocket Card and Rocket Wireless. Dr. Patten Wallace works with students, faculty, staff and administrators to help ensure student success and to fulfill the university's mission for a student-centered environment.
Jo serves as the Director of Residence Life at The University of Toledo. Her primary goal is to support the mission to foster academic and social successes for students. She works with the colleges on the Living Learning Communities, with Greek Life and the Greek village Policy committee concerning McComas Village housing 14 fraternities and sororities, and many other groups and initiatives. She also has oversight for the counseling center and alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention efforts.

As Director of the University Counseling center, Dr. Edwards is responsible for the leadership, supervision and management of the UT Counseling Center. He works collaboratively with other departments within the University while providing counseling, crisis intervention, consultation and outreach programs and prevention strategies for students.
Sammy is the Director of Camp Adventure at UT, which is one of the largest and most diverse student organizations on campus. For the Division of Student Affairs, Sammy is the liaison for MAP-Works, an early intervention program for first-year students. In addition, Sammy is involved with the Office of Multicultural Student Services and serves on the International Student Advisory Council.

Susan serves as Student Advocate within the Office for the Student Experience at The University of Toledo. She investigates the nature of complaints confidentially and impartially to attain equitable settlements and to help alleviate unnecessary pressures students face in the achievement of their academic goals. She serves as a resource for clarifying institutional policies and procedures. Susan promotes a culture of student centeredness by establishing and maintaining good working relationships throughout The University.

Mr. Gaddy serves as the Advocacy Program Coordinator for newly formed Office for the Student Experience where he uses his passion and desire to help students realize and reach their fullest potential. Born and raised in Mansfield, OH Brandon E. Gaddy is a two time graduate of the University of Toledo, The Judith Herb College of Education (Masters of Higher Education Administration, 2008) and College of Business Administration (Bachelors' of Business Administration, 2005) Throughout the years Mr. Gaddy has dedicated his work to helping students succeed in higher education and beyond. He has coordinated and implemented mentoring programs, personal development and leadership workshops, and advised many student organizations during his tenure here at the University of Toledo.

Dale is currently a Retention Specialist in the Office of the Dean of Students, working primarily with incoming students, helping them get connected to the University and helping them be successful as early on as possible. Dale works with all areas in Student Affairs, trying to collaborate as much as possible and give the UT students a great experience in college. Dale Pelz Jr. was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He graduated from St. Francis de Sales High School and received his Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Toledo in 2001.

Through her role as the interim Dean of students, Michele assists students and parents as well as faculty and staff members with issues that affect students. Michele provides direction and guidance in the analysis, review, creation and interpretation of policy and its operational impact on students. She provides leadership for the following departments: Office of Student Conduct, Office of Multicultural Student Services- African American Student Enrichment Initiative Office & the Office of Latino Initiatives, Office of Student Involvement- Commuter Student and Off Campus Services, Greek Life, Student Activities and Leadership.
Joy is the Director of Auxiliary Enterprises and provides oversight for many student services at the University of Toledo including the bookstore, dining services and meal plans, parking services, the student union, the Rocket Card ID program, Rocket Wireless, and others. She works with students, faculty, staff and administrators on a daily basis and is also an active participant with various professional associations to keep up to date with the latest programs and services to benefit the university community.
Working with the Dean of Students, Tracci maintains responsibility for the Student code of Conduct on campus as well as Parent and Family Services. She is also in charge of the Community Service Opportunities for student organizations as well as maintaining responsibility for the new mentorship program for first-year undergraduate students, Rocket-2-Rocket.

Darci currently serves as the Assistant Director of Leadership Development. She oversees the UT S.W.A.T. Team - a peer education and leadership program for upper classmen. She is also the instructor for the first year students in Leadership UT - a scholarship and leadership training program. Both the UT S.W.A.T. Team and Leadership UT are designed to develop leadership skills in students so that they in turn can serve other UT students and the UT community. Darci is also involved with several retention programs such as Rocket 2 Rocket Peer Mentorship, life@college education series, and FYE First Year Initiatives.

Tony Urbina is the Acting Director for the Office for the Student Experience here at The University of Toledo. Although he is Graduate of Bowling Green State University, he completed his graduate work with the blue and gold. Tony is very passionate about life and believes in the value of those we serve and work with. As General Schwarzkopf once said; "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." When we decide to put people first; we ultimately enrich our own lives.

Alexis Blavos is the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Prevention (ATOD) Specialist for the University and provides leadership to promote healthy decision making around substance abuse issues. She is also responsible for the delivery of programming and organization of ATOD prevention and education services.

Jessica is currently the Program Manager in the Office of Student Involvement. She is in charge of student organizations, works with leadership initiatives, and coordinates OSI specific programming and recognition. Jessica Merritt received her bachelor's degree from the College of Wooster in 2003 and her M.A. from Eastern Michigan University in 2006. Before coming to the University of Toledo, Jessica worked in residence life for 5 years. She was a residence director and a university instructor at Syracuse University.

Jeff is in charge of the overall operation of the Student Union, the Office of Student Involvement and the Office of Health Promotions. Programs and services would include the Student Recreation Center, Student Organizations, Leadership UT, and Greek Life. Jeff will also serve as the advisor for Campus Activities and Programming (CAP) and as chair of the Student Activities Committee for the '09-'10 school year.

Sabina currently serves as the associate director in the Office of Student Involvement. She has been with the University of Toledo since 1991 both as a student and a professional staff member. Sabina earned her associate degree -her most valued college degree, in Legal Assisting Technology (now known as the Paralegal Studies Program) in 1993, her bachelor of arts degree in Women's and Gender Studies in 1998, and her Master of Liberal Studies degree in 2006. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the College of Education.

Diane Docis coordinates the University of Toledo Sexual Assault Education and Prevention Program. SAEPP provides educational programming designed to create a campus culture free of gender violence. Diane serves as an advocate for survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence, stalking, and sexual harassment, providing pressure-free support, information, referrals, and accompaniment through the medical and legal process. Diane advises the group, UTURN: UT united 4 respect & nonviolence, and serves on numerous campus and community committees related to improving the campus climate.
Fatima is currently a Program Coordinator in The University of Toledo's Office of Multicultural Student Success, specializing in diversity/cultural sensitivity trainings and LGBTQA education, advocacy and support. Fatima is a graduate of The University of Toledo with her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and her Master's Degree in Liberal Studies, and has provided education to at-risk youth in Lucas County since 2000.
Cecilia serves as the Greek Life Coordinator at The University of Toledo. Her primary goal is to support and advise the 32 social fraternities and sororities at UT. Along with support from her graduate assistant and the McComas Village director she advises the four governing councils of the Greek Independent Board (GIB), Interfraternity Council (IFC), National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), and National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) as well as Order of Omega and Gamma Sigma Alpha. In addition to advising Cecilia handles leadership development, program planning, recruitment and retention of our fraternity and sorority community.

Roberta currently serves as a Program Coordinator in the Office of the Dean of Students (DOS), in support of the Office of Multicultural Student Success (OMSS). Her primary focus is on the retention of UT students. She provides assistance with developing diversity, educational, and outreach activities designed for retention efforts. She serves other offices in relationship to retention such as the Office of Latino Initiatives, Office of Residence Life, and Student Involvement. While Roberta's primary focus is on the retention of students, she also provides assistance for students for financial aid processes. Roberta enjoys working with the entire student population, and her underlying goal is to support The University of Toledo's mission of "Student Centeredness".
Nancy is the Associate Director at the Student Recreation Center at the University of Toledo. She is in charge of the maintenance of the facility, membership and customer service, and the rentals and reservations at the Rec and the Health Ed Center. Nancy Burhans received her bachelor's degree from BGSU in 1980 and her M.Ed from Miami University in 1982. Before coming to the University of Toledo's Student Recreation Center she worked in community recreation for 20 years. She was the Health/Fitness Director at the YWCA of Toledo and the Physical Education Director at the Jewish Community Center of Toledo.
