UT tutors help students prepare for tests, learn new concepts, improve study techniques,
and answer questions about assignments. All LEC tutors are highly trained. Tutoring
is free for UT students.
Supplemental InstructionSupplemental Instruction (SI) is a series of peer-led weekly review study sessions for UT students enrolled in selected courses. The SI method has been proven to help increase student understanding of course material and raise grades.
Academic WorkshopsAcademic Workshops include Praxis I preparation, Creative Problem Solving, Turning Notes into Learning Tools, Reading for Information and Taking the Guesswork Out of Test Taking.
Online Tutoring
UT students may access online tutoring, where they can chat live with a tutor, post
a question or submit a draft of a paper.
Study Resources & Strategies
Meet with a learning specialist or review online study strategies to help students succeed
in college.
