    Ensuring Success at UT

    Find services and support to help ensure your academic success at The University of Toledo. 

    Visit the following UT Learning Collaborative programs and discover the services that will help you face your challenges head on.

    Career Services
    Career Services offer resources and strategies for choosing a college major, developing career plans, preparing for a job search and interview, finding on– and off-campus part-time jobs, and identifying internships and full-time career positions. They also have one of the most comprehensive career libraries on campus as well as an alumni contact network.

    Office of International Studnet Services
    Provides assistance and services to international students at The University of Toledo, helping students transition to life at UT and in the United States, serving as a resource regarding orientation, visa requirements, on-campus  and  off-campus housing,  banking,  and international student health insurance

    Tutoring at the Learning Enhancement Center
    The Learning Enhancement Center provides academic assistance to all University of Toledo students. Services include free tutoring in subjects such as science, math, business, foreign language and study strategies; Supplemental Instruction - which is peer-led study sessions for targeted courses; and workshops.

    Testing Services
    The University of Toledo has many testing services for the convenience of its students and the community. The Test Centers provides the following services and others:

    • CLEP Testing
    • ACT Testing
    • ETS Testing
    • Pearson VUE Testing
    • Certification & Licensure Tests
    • Internet Based Testing
    • Distance Learning testing proctoring
    • Skills Assessment testing

    Student Athletic Academic Services
    Student Athletic Academic Service staff provides a variety of services to assist all student-athletes with their academic progress. Services include guidance with course scheduling, targeting (a time management program), study table, individualized and group tutoring, and academic and career counseling.

    Office of Accessibility
    Office of Accessibility provides accommodations and support services to students, faculty, and staff with disabilities. The first step to becoming registered with their office is to submit documentation of a disability based on the disability guidelines provided on their website.

    TRIO Student Support Services
    TRIO-Student Support Services goal provides an environment that encourages excellence, supports success and fosters involvement. Services include orientation and study-skills courses, multicultural social events, individual academic advising, tutoring, and career and social adjustment counseling, as well as helping students to utilize existing university services. Eligibility is based one of three areas: First-Generation Eligible, Disability Eligible or Low Income Eligible.
