Message from the Executive Director
Dear UT Students:
In order to meet the needs of our citizenry and community, The University of Toledo Learning Collaborative (UTLC) will cultivate the social, civic, ethical and academic growth of all University of Toledo students. The UTLC has six primary areas of focus: academic enrichment, academic support, gateway programs, student success and retention, University College Degree Programs, and student customer services all with a strong student centered focus.
We look to assist our students by providing services to help ensure success at UT through programs such as:
- Career Services
- Tutoring in the Learning Enhancement Center
- Testing Services
- Student Athletic Academic Services
- Office of Accessibility
- Testing Services
- TRIO - Student Support Services
We look to help our student’s have an enriched academic experience by encouraging participation in programs such as:
- Honors
- Service Leaning
- Study Abroad
- Undergraduate Research
- Career Services
- The Mentoring Collaborative
The UT Learning Collaborative through the University College Degree Programs, enables students to earn a baccalaureate degree. The Individualized Programs and Adult Liberal Studies Program offers a great deal of flexibility to students in building a program that fits their career and personal goals.
The UTLC is a place for where students can start in our Gateway Programs providing them guidance in exploring majors.

We house specific programs for high school students to get a head start on planning and launching their academic college career. Opportunities for High School Students include:

The UTLC houses the Student Customer Service a student resource for clarifying institutional policies and procedures and provides direction for dealing with academic issues or sensitive issues.
