Welcome to the Rocket Transition Program
Welcome to Rocket Transition, The University of Toledo’s transfer student orientation program. We are very excited that you have chosen to pursue your education at The University of Toledo. Our goal is to ensure that you have the necessary tools and information to successfully transition to UT. The first step towards success begins with Rocket Transition!
Rocket Transition is a one-day required orientation program for transfer students and their families. During the program, you will have the opportunity to meet with your academic adviser, register for courses, complete procedural details such as obtaining your Rocket Card (student ID) and learn about the many educational opportunities that UT offers both inside and outside of the classroom.
Make sure you carefully read all the information on this website, which will guide you through the Rocket Transition program registration process. You are not finished with the process until you have completed the following steps:
1. Choose a program date to attend.
2. Register for the program through the online orientation reservation link located on the New Student Tab in the myUT Portal.
3. Call your college to determine required placement testing.
4. Complete all required placement tests prior to your advising appointment and/or attending Rocket Transition.
