Handshake FAQ's Log-in to Handshake 

ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT  

INCOMING FRESHMEN 

Incoming first-year students will receive a Handshake account 24 hours after registering for classes. At that time, you can follow the directions indicated below. 

CURRENT STUDENTS 

Once you register for classes, you will receive a Handshake account. If you have never logged into Handshake, please follow the steps below to complete your profile. 

  1. Log into your MyUT portal here.   
  1. Locate “University Career Services” in your student tab and select “Handshake.” 

  1. Click the blue login button.                         

  1. Complete your profile to personalize your job feed.

As a graduate of the University of Toledo, you can still access Handshake to schedule appointments, apply for jobs, join events, and network with employers. If you are interested in a Handshake account, please complete the Handshake Account Request Form below.
