Types of Assignments

Resume Review

Assign your students to create a resume and visit the Rocket Career Center during walk-in hours to review their resume with one of our Career Ambassadors; UToledo students who are trained and skilled in career development, including resume writing.

Mock interviews

Assign students to schedule an appointment with the Rocket Career Center to conduct a mock interview. Our Career Consultants can conduct a mock interview with your student, providing tips and feedback.

Career Fair Participation

The Rocket Career Center host numerous professional development events for students throughout the year. We host Career Fairs, Networking Events, Employer Information Nights, and more. These events help students prepare themselves professionally for after graduation. You can encourage your students to attend by making it an assignment or offering extra credit. We can even help you track your student’s attendance at RCC hosted events.
