COVID-19 COMMUNICATIONS

CLASSES

UToledo made the decision in early April to teach all summer courses remotely. Conversations continue about planning for Fall semester as we review direction from state leaders and best practices in higher education.

Many classes will be using the Blackboard platform and may include "real-time" classes at your regularly scheduled class time through Blackboard Collaborate Ultra. Some faculty and student services offices may also use Webex for classes or student conferences.

In preparation for the transition to online learning, assess your technology to make sure that you have what you need to participate in online learning. Use UToledo Online resources that allow you to check your browser and computer. See below for helpful tech support and remote access information:

  • UToledo Online Help Desk - Support numbers, browser check page, links to Blackboard and Blackboard Collaborate student guides, Echo 360 student guide, help videos
  • University IT Help Desk - Internet access, mobile connectivity, or hardware and software issues

IMMEDIATE JOB OPENINGS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
