NASC - 1100 MATTER AND ENERGY
[3 hours] Elementary study of motion and gravity, thermodynamics, wave phenomena, light, electricity, magnetism, models of the atom, the solar system, stars, and galaxies. Prerequisite: MATH 1210, 1220


NASC - 1110 MATTER AND ENERGY LABORATORY
[1 hour] Quantitative measurements and predictions concerning the physical universe in a laboratory environment. Motion, electric and magnetic fields, properties of matter, temperature and heat, radioactive decay. Two hours of laboratory per week. Corequisite: NASC 1100
