[3 hours]  Course emphasizes integrated financial decision making tools, techniques, and theory.  Content stresses acquisition and management of short and long-term capital, short and long-term investments, corporate securities and, financial markets.  Prerequisite: ACCT 2040 and completion of or concurrent registration in ACCT 2050 and ISOM 2060.  Corequisite: ACCT 2050 and ISOM 2060.

[3 hours]  Combines a discussion of the economic aspects of life and health   insurance with basic analysis on life insurance, health and annuity contracts.  Includes investigation of major   functional aspects.  Prerequisite: FINA 3040, 3600

[3 hours]  An integrative analysis of real estate insurance, taxes, and   legislation as they impact commercial real estate ownership returns and risk.  A term project is required.  Prerequisite: FINA 3040

FINA - 3890   QUANTITATIVE APPLICATIONS IN FINANCE

FINA - 4080   INTERMEDIATE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
[3 hours]  Explores financial decision making in depth using case studies and computer projects.  Topics include cost of capital, capital budgeting, leasing, financial planning, financial statement analysis, leverage, and capital structure.  Prerequisite: FINA 3040
