This brick is to honor the 84th birthday of my mom, Jean Clarke, of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada – a special Mom to five sons and two daughters. Women of my mother’s generation witnessed the lives of women change in so many ways in their lifetime! I know my mom takes distinct pleasure in the unlimited life opportunities available to her daughters and granddaughters! She is always proud to see the personal and professional achievements of these women. The Legacy Paver to honor my mom reads “Mom” – a three-letter work that is both simple and complex. When I see this brick in the Eberly Center Legacy Courtyard, I will be reminded of my Mom and be grateful for all she has done for me. I hope when others see this paver, they will reflect on the best of what the word “Mom” means to them, either as a daughter or as a mother to their children. Donor -Carrie Lee
