Gender Equity Summit

The State of Women

On March 1, 2021 Toledo-area stakeholders and changemakers came together for a day of dialogue and action-planning to advance intersectional gender equity.

2021 Gender Equity Summit

Participants explored current issues affecting women and increased their understanding of how women’s experiences are shaped by race, class, sexuality and ability. The Eberly Center recorded all of the panel discussions as well as Dr. Abdullah's keynote in order to make the information accessible to everyone on campus and in the greater Toledo area.

The 2021 Gender Equity Summit was sponsored by The Catharine S. Eberly Center for Women, Department of Women’s and Gender Studies, Toledo Lucas County Public Library Steinem Sisters Collection, United Way of Greater Toledo, Women of Toledo, and YWCA of Northwest Ohio.
