Spring Off-Campus Housing Fair

Spring Semester Housing Fair

Wednesday, March 13th, 2019

The Off-Campus Housing Fair seeks to provide UT students with the opportunity to find safe and affordable housing around the Toledo area. The housing fair showcases both on- and off-campus housing near campus and essential utilities and departments that student may need.

A variety of participants distribute materials, information, tools, and resources to aid students through their decision-making process. Topics addressed include housing options, safety, tenant responsibilities, lease review clinics, and options for utilities around the City of Toledo.

How do I get to the Off-Campus Housing Fair?

The event is traditionally held in the Trimble Lounge on the 2nd floor of the Student Union. Please view the Campus Map to view the location of the University Union.

How many people attend the Off-Campus Living Fair?

Last year, there were over 400 students who attended the fair and over many different housing representatives and community members.

What should I bring with me to the fair?

If you are a student looking for housing, it would be helpful to come to the event with an idea of your ideal housing situation (price, utility charges, number of roommates, location, etc.).

It may be helpful to create a list of questions to ask the different vendors in order to obtain the information you need to know when choosing to live off-campus.  We have some examples questions.

Are you a vendor/UT Office that needs to register?
