Do you know a UT staff member who exceeds their job expectations? Who goes above and
beyond to provide exceptional customer service and has enhanced The University of
Toledo’s environment for students, staff, faculty, patients and the community? Someone
who continues to act in furtherance of the UT mission? Please consider nominating
that individual for an Outstanding Staff Award.
Nominees will be acknowledged at an awards ceremony on April 21, 2014 in the Ingman Room at the Student Union on the Bancroft Street campus. Four individuals will be selected as award recipients. Nominations will be accepted from faculty, staff, patients, students, administrators and the community.
Eligible nominees must be a current full or part time (20 hours or more) UT staff members from any campus with at least two years of service at The University of Toledo. Previous award recipients within the last three years, faculty, and senior administration are not eligible.
Nominations must be received by March 7, 2014. The deadline for nomination submission has been extended until Friday, March 14, 2014.

2014 Wellness Incentive
It’s that time of the year again! There is a wellness open enrollment period for each year of the collective bargaining agreement for the “wellness incentive”. You must sign up during this time period in order to qualify for the $60 incentive.
The wellness open enrollment process has been automated for easier processing. Please follow these step by step instructions.
This year’s wellness open enrollment period is January 13th through January 24th. You must go online at https://entapps00.utoledo.edu/wellness to fill out the form and submit by 5pm on Friday, January 24th.
Paper or Late applications will not be accepted.
We hope you will take advantage of this incentive and follow through on any wellness incentives that UT offers! Being and staying healthy is the first step to reducing your health care costs and those of the institution.

Summer Leave/Voluntary Reduction in Work Hours
UT is again this year offering academic and college departmental staff an opportunity to voluntarily reduce the number of hours they work during the summer. This program allows individuals to take additional unpaid time off during the summer, and assists UT in decreasing staff hours paid in departments where workloads are reduced in the summer.

Outstanding Staff Awards Nomination Form 2013
Do you know a UT staff member who exceeds their job expectations? Who goes above and beyond his or her normal job requirements to enhance The University of Toledo’s environment for students, staff, faculty, patients and the community? Please consider nominating that individual for an Outstanding Staff Award.
Nominees will be acknowledged at an awards program on April 22, 2013 at the Ingman
Room in the Student Union on the Bancroft Street Campus from 6 – 8 pm. Two individuals
in each of the three staff categories, (AFSCME, CWA, PSA) will be selected as the
top awardees in their category, and one individual will be selected from the UTPPA
organization. Nominations are confidential and will be accepted from faculty, staff,
patients, students, administrators and the community.
Eligible nominees must be a current full-time UT staff member from any campus who is from the four above mentioned categories with at least five years of service to The University of Toledo. Previous award recipients, faculty and senior administration are not eligible.
Nominations must be received by April 12, 2013.
