Upon request, UT Online instructional designers and educational technologists conduct a variety of trainings to support faculty in the adoption of innovative pedagogies and leading-edge technologies to engage students in their classes. A list of roadshow topics can be found on our training schedule. Please contact us at utlv@utoledo.edu if you would like to schedule a roadshow for faculty and teaching assistants in your department or college.

My experience with our UT Learning Ventures office has been very positive! I have found the knowledge and skills I have gained from workshops organized by the office to be very useful for teaching my online classes. A few years ago, I was initially very apprehensive about teaching online. At that time, as a Master Teacher in our former College of Arts & Sciences, who loves teaching face-to-face/lecture classes, I never knew that teaching online can be made e-a-s-y! Thanks to the LV staff members who spent a lot of their time sharing online teaching tips; showing me how to set-up and manage my courses in a manner that meets the needs of my students, efficiently and effectively . . . Now, I love teaching online as much as I do teaching lecture courses! I am even able to help my students as they navigate our course Web sites. Mojisola F. Tiamiyu, PhD.
