Paul Hubaker began his 42-year career in education at the Oregon City School district as a classroom teacher and coach, then moved to Washington Local Schools as a building administrator and finally joined the ranks at The University of Toledo in 1994, where he worked with instructors in Career and Technical Education (CTE). Then in 1999, he became coordinator of the Career and Technical Education Program. He received his Bachelor of Education in Vocational Education, along with his Master of Education and Educational Specialist Degree in Supervision and Administration from The University of Toledo.
He is responsible for maintaining the licensure and endorsement program for individuals coming from business and industry who are making a career change into teaching in the career setting. He teaches courses in curriculum design and classroom management strategies and advises students in the CTE program. He sits on the Board of Directors for Skills/USA and national organization for students and has responsibility for the Career and Technical Education Teacher Preparation and Retention Grant through the Ohio Department of Education.
