Dr. Sanchez teaches courses in curriculum and instruction with a focus in middle school social studies methods, best practices in middle level/high school, and graduate-level social studies education. His research interests focus on multicultural education and the depiction of Native Americans in instructional materials, the latter utilized in presentations to local schools. He is also interested in the area of character education within the social studies.
