Supreme Court of Ohio appoints Pizzimenti to Commission on the Rules of Practice and Procedure

Lee A. Pizzimenti, associate dean for student affairs and professor of law, has been appointed by the Supreme Court of Ohio to its Commission on the Rules of Practice and Procedure. Pizzimenti was nominated by Justice Judith Lanzinger ’77.

A faculty member since 1985, Pizzimenti’s scholarship is in the area of legal ethics. In addition to serving as associate dean, she teaches legal ethics and civil procedure – pleading and practice.  She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Wayne State University Law School. Prior to joining the faculty, Pizzimenti clerked for Judge Engel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Pizzimenti is active in a number of professional and civic organizations including the State Bar of Michigan Committee on Professional and Judicial Ethics, the American Civil Liberties Union and the United Way.   

College of Law Dean Daniel J. Steinbock recently completed a term on this commission.
