Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of the contents of three scrapbooks that document the Humphrey/Stone/Giffin family through five generations. It covers approximately 100 years--from about 1894 to 1996. The vast majority of the items in this collection are photographs. Of particular interest are the photograph of "Grandpa Humphrey" in his KKK uniform, and the photograph of Harold Humphrey with a fob made of shrapnel that had been taken from his head during World War I. Other items found in the collection include obituaries, newspaper clippings, greeting cards, and "Grandpa Stone's" union ribbon from the Carriage & Wagonworkers Local No. 70.
