Biographical Sketch
A native of Toledo, Ohio, Don Bollenbacher was born on March 2nd, 1936. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Toledo in 1959 and his master’s in public administration from the University of Oklahoma in 1974. From there, he worked at several chemical engineering plants and organizations, using his Professional Engineering License from Alabama.
By 2000, Bollenbacher retired, but remained active as a lecturer and instructor at the Academy for Lifetime Learning at UAH. He also taught opera, computer activities, and genealogy. Bollenbacher also gave his time to the Boys and Girls Club as well as Boy Scouts of America, earning awards for being an outstanding volunteer.

Collection contains notes and notebooks created by Don Bollenbacher during the completion of his degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Toledo 1955-1959.
