BLS Skills - Incoming Nursing Students

Location: Unless otherwise designated, the location will be in the Lloyd Jacobs Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center on the UT Health Science Campus (2920 Transverse Dr, Toledo Ohio)
This course is a combined online and skills course specifically for students entering into the Nursing Program at the University of Toledo. This is intended for people who have not had BLS certification previously. If cancellation of a registration is necessary, a refund is available if cancellation is in writing to James.cress@utoledo.edu at least 2 business days in advance of the scheduled course. If cancellation is less than 2 business days in advance of the course, no refund is issued. If a person is turned away from class for being late or for not having the required document, the registration fee is also forfeited.
University of Toledo Nursing Students.
Must successfully complete the Heartcode BLS online course and bring the certificate of completion to the skill session.
The successful completion of both the On-line course and the Skills evaluation are required in order to obtain course certification.
No textbook is required. Students are to complete an online Heartcode BLS course found at https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls prior to attending this skill session.
Fees for all students using this format is $ 23.00. Any fees collected do not represent revenue for the American Heart Association.
