ACLS for 4th Year Medical Students

Date: 3/23/2021  •  Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM;
Location: Unless otherwise specified, this course will be held in the Lloyd Jacobs Immersive Simulation Center / Creative Center for Education on the Health Science Campus (2920 Transverse Dr, Toledo, OH 43614).

This is a class specifically established for 4th year medical students in preparation for their upcoming residency programs.

Only approved students of the UT COMLS will be permitted to attend this course, or anyone pre-approved by the Life Support Training Coordinator.

Participants must complete the "ACLS Precourse Assessment and Precourse Work" course, which can be found on the elearning.heart.org website.

Participants must complete all required precourse work and must successfully perform all of the required ACLS skills. Participants must also obtain a minimum of 84% on the ACLS written examination. Participants are allowed one opportunity for a retest of the written exam (using an alternative version of the exam) within 30 days of the initial exam.

The participants need to obtain a current edition (2020 guidelines) of the ACLS Provider manual for preparation and use during the course.
