UToledo alumna Josie Groll, Women's and Gender Studies 2020Josie Groll

B.A. Women's and Gender Studies 2020

"I graduated from the University of Toledo in May 2020 and started law school at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law the following fall. I’m currently in my final year of law school and interviewing for post-graduation jobs. I’ve focused specifically on criminal, juvenile, and family law, and have completed internships and externships with the Supreme Court of Ohio, the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the Ohio Public Defender, and the Ohio Justice and Policy Center. I honestly don’t know where I would be without the WGST department. Through the courses I took in the program, the values of intersectional feminism, and the hands-on faculty who truly went so above and beyond to assist me in preparation for law school, I have been given such a foundation for the success I have found since graduating."
