Medical students are passionate about reaching their career goals . But many students wonder: What will it take to get from here ("student") to there ("physician")? Rocket Trajectory [M.D.] is designed to help answer this question by providing a glimpse of the path that previous UT medical school students took in order to match into their residency programs.
Rocket Trajectory [M.D.] is a searchable database of five years' worth of College of Medicine and Life Sciences (COMLS) information about the specialties, programs and states where graduates matched. Students with UT credentials can log into this site to see additional aggregate information, such as average USMLE Step 1 scores for each specialty and for many of the specific programs where recent COMLS graduates have gone on to do their residency training.
Rocket Trajectory [M.D.] is a collaborative effort of COMLS medical students, the COMLS Office of Student Affairs, and the UT Center for Creative Instruction. Please feel free to leave comments, questions, and ideas for improvement in the comment box to the right.
