Program Outcomes

The M.S.N.-CNL expected program outcomes include:

1)         Synthesize theories, concepts and research in nursing, bio-psychosocial sciences and humanities as the basis for practice.

2)         Integrate nursing knowledge and skills in designing and implementing care to individuals and diverse populations based on Orem's Self-Care Deficit of Nursing Theory.

3)         Engage in scholarly inquiry to advance the profession of nursing.

4)         Engage in leadership strategies that contribute to the improvement of health care delivery and influence health care policy.

5)         Demonstrate initiative and self-direction in professional development.
