The Office of Special Events

The Office of Special Events oversees a wide range of prestigious events for The University of Toledo, specifically for the Office of the President and Board of Trustees; special donor celebrations for the Division of Advancement; University groundbreaking, naming and dedication events; and select campus-wide events that elevate the University's longstanding reputation.

Based on an event's unique requirements, the Special Events team can advise and assist University administration and other departments with: event protocol and logistics; cost and budget management; program development, conception and production; facility use and design; gift procurement for guests; and all associated promotions.

Further, the Office of Special Events also is responsible for:

  • Advising UToledo's Presidential Ambassadors; and
  • Reviewing University sponsorship's and table purchases for various community and other external events.
