PROGRAM OVERVIEW
UToledo is the first public institution in Ohio to offer a BSN to DNP program. The 100% online Post-Baccalaureate to Doctor of Nursing Practice program at The University of Toledo is designed to take BSN-prepared nurses to the highest level of clinical practice.
Our students also take advantage of real-world clinical opportunities with some of the best clinical sites in the region, including The University of Toledo Medical Center and ProMedica Healthcare.

PROGRAM DETAILS
The 100% online DNP curriculum includes theoretical and clinical courses to prepare students to lead and develop innovative healthcare delivery in a variety of settings.
There are two BSN to DNP track options at The University of Toledo.
- The BSN to DNP NP track is for the bachelor’s-prepared nurse who desires to complete
the DNP and become an advanced practice nurse. Nurse practitioner tracks include:
- Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
- Family Nurse Practitioner
- Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- The BSN to DNP Nurse Executive track is designed to take the bachelor’s-prepared nurse
to the highest level of nursing leadership.
