Allison (Allie) Berns, CFRM, joined the Council in 2020.
Allison serves as an assistant director of annual giving at The University of Toledo.
In her role, Allie cultivates and retains annual giving support for five colleges
as well as the University of Toledo Medical Center and the Toledo Rocket Marching
Band. Prior to UToledo, Allie served as the campaign director for The Jewish Federation
of Greater Toledo.
Allie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from The Ohio State University, is a graduate
of the Paralegal Studies program from Capital University Law School, and holds a Certificate
in Fund Raising Management from The Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana
University – Purdue University Indianapolis. Allie is currently pursuing a masters
in The University of Toledo Higher Education program.
Allie is graduate of Leadership Toledo and serves as board member for the Association
of Fundraising Professionals Northwest Ohio Chapter, Leadership Toledo, The University
of Toledo Hillel, and Heritage Sylvania.
