Transition from KC
If you have a 200 series IRB approved study that originated in K.C., please read this entire message.
In preparation for bringing studies from the KC system into IRB Manager, the HRPP/IRB office will no longer accept submissions in KC as of Monday September 23, 2019. Any request submitted after 11:59 PM on Sunday September 22, 2019 will be withdrawn.
From Monday September 23 – Monday September 30, 2019, HRPP staff will be finalizing all items in process of IRB review in KC. Note, if your submission is not complete (e.g., missing COIs, expired trainings, etc.) by 5:00 PM Tuesday September 24, 2019, your submission will be withdrawn and you will need to submit the request via IRB Manager on or after October 1, 2019.
On Tuesday October 1, 2019, your study will be in the IRB Manager system. Since your study did not originate in IRB Manager, there will be an additional task you must complete before submitting an amendment request. More information will be provided later.
If you have a 200 series study and need to submit a request to the October 17, 2019 Biomedical IRB convened meeting, the deadline to submit for review is being extended from Thursday October 3 to Monday October 7, 2019.
In summary, if you have a 200 series study that originated in KC, you will NOT be able to submit any requests to the IRB from Monday September 23 – Monday September 30, 2019. Thank you for your understanding while we make this transition.
