Welcome new Rockets to UToledo!  The transition from high school to college is exciting and can have some unique challenges. The First Year Toledo program is designed to provide you with the tools and resources to succeed academically, socially, and professionally as a UToledo student.

Rocket Launch and Course Registration  

Rocket Launch and course registration are the first steps to being an official Rocket, and your transition to the University of Toledo will continue throughout your first year. During Rocket Launch, you will meet other incoming students and members of your support team, learn about academic requirements, and prepare to register for your first semester classes.

Rocket Welcome Weekend is your official fall welcome where you will have the opportunity to engage with the UToledo community, meet other new students, and learn more about campus resources!

First Year Experience Courses

All majors at UToledo require a 1-3 credit hour First Year Experience (FYE) course to introduce students to the skills needed and resources available for college success. During your course registration appointment after Rocket Launch, you will register for your FYE course.
