Cheryl Karnikowski is the Veteran Affairs Academic Compliance Specialist who is responsible for specific compliance and advising activities associated with the Military Service Center. Her responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the Veterans Administration and State Approving Agency and providing services and support to students using Veterans Affairs education benefits. Cheryl has worked for The University of Toledo for more than thirty years, beginning in Facilities Management. She is honored to have served as the VA Certifying Official since 2010. She is a member of the Association for Veterans Education Certifying Officials and enjoys the outdoors, attending her three grandsons’ sporting events, and playing golf.
